At the trade fair we only needed 15 minutes to convert a drawing into a machined workpiece. People were fascinated, and I greatly enjoyed the week.
It is more fun to write programs on a PC than on the machine, because you can sit and write more easily on the keyboard. On a machine, writing a program is not as quick.
It is much easier to familiarise yourself with a machine in the virtual workshop, as with a real you would have to completely dismantle it
In the virtual workshop I can practice setting the workpiece zero point or manually moving the machine without having to fear an expensive crash.
